Our Service Areas

DeSoto County sits at the very top of Mississippi, right across the state line from Memphis, and it is home base for Custom Remodeling LLC. The county covers roughly 476 square miles, was formed in 1836 and named for the explorer Hernando de Soto, and today it is part of the Memphis metropolitan area. Its county seat is Hernando and its largest city is Southaven, where our shop is.

It is also one of the busiest counties in the state. The 2020 census counted 185,314 residents — the third-most populous county in Mississippi — up from about 107,000 in 2000, and that growth is visible in the housing stock: new subdivisions filling in around Southaven, Olive Branch and Horn Lake, older homes on larger lots closer to Hernando and the Tennessee line, and a lot of 1990s and 2000s construction now reaching the point where a roof, kitchen or bathroom needs doing right.

We have worked here since 2009, so most of the county is familiar ground — the neighborhoods off Goodman Road and Poplar Avenue, the subdivisions off Highway 51 and I-69, and the small pockets between the incorporated cities. Most of our work in the county is complete roof replacements and new roof installations, along with kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, exterior painting, patio covers, outdoor living spaces and water damage restoration. If your home is in DeSoto County, give us a call at (901) 238-4949 and we will come take a look.
